Open Project- Final

 

Wahoo! My final project is complete. I learned so much while exploring this piece including text transitions such as ink blur, and paint wipe, write on effect, fractal noise, choke, tricolor, and wipe to create a burn effect, page turn, stop motion and more! This video centers around my feelings on the transition from winter to spring while living here in Boone. I experience a lot of emotions within seasons and as they change, and I've felt a lot of resentment as the winter in Boone refuses to make way for new warmth and life. I created a voice over of me reading a portion of "Some Feel Rain" by Joanna Klink. This poem, to me, embodied this metaphorical bitterness and desire for life and change.
